IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | i tried to drive in the snow once in the stock RE-70's. hahaha that was quite comical. I just had to move the car from the front of the house to the garage, and there was no traction. And i mean NO traction. I had to drive around the corner to get to the alley to get to the garage, and the road is kinda sloped and the car almost slid off the road because of the slope. haha. That being said as soon as i got the Bridgestone Blizzaks on their, i must say that this is the best winter vehicle ever. This ad is not endorsed by this member. The day i traded my 04 for my 06 i had to drive 78 miles in the snow back to my hotel. I seriously thought i was going to total my car that night . 30mph, white nuckles and all. I couldn't stop, i slid through every red light and stop sign, and i had to lock the diff before i could even accelerate. It's extremely dangereous to drive in the snow with those tires. Be careful man and enjoy your new ride. |

However, the braking load on the brakes themselves becomes much heavier towards the end of the tire life, ESPECIALLY in the rain. |
