Weight of stock wheels, '04 & '05 - Page 2

I think the Potenza RE070 are what weigh down the rims and tires as one.

Those dam things are heavy....

Remember that much of that weight is in those awesomely stiff sidewalls which contributes to both the crisp turn in and the somewhat crashy ride. I remember when everyone thought that the Toyo T1-S was so awesome for the GCs because of their low weight, and then guys started to use them on the GDs and realized quickly why they were so light; squishy sidewalls.

Just picked up Volk Racing Diamond Black RE30 Volks, 17.5lbs in 18 x 8.5

Now to sell the stock BBS's.

Actually I think the high offset RE30's are even a bit lighter than that
