Default Where to buy all-season tires

I'm looking to buy a set of all-season tires. I've been on Pirelli PZero Neros for the past two winters and was very happy with them. This time around, I was thinking trying out Kuhmo Ecsta ASX. I have heard good things about them and I could save about $200 for the set.

My question is where do people buy their tires?

I got the Pirellis from Tirerack last time, but that was at cost through my (former) job. I think Tirerack lists ASX in 235/40/18 for $110/tire. Thanks in advance.

I got a local shop to match (and beat) tirerack's price on my Contis, and they mounted/balanced them. Always worth trying if you're willing.

I'm looking at Kumho Ecsta ASX in 235/40/18. I think discouttire lists them at 120/tire.

Yeah it worked out pretty well, they were like $110 a tire (plus shipping) last year on tirerack, and I got it out the door at the shop (tax, mounting/balancing, etc.) for about $535 I think.

That's definitely a deal and half. Was it a normal shop or a tire shop?

It was Belle Tire in Michigan, which is an American Car Care Center location. http://www.accconline.com/

Have you looked online at Vulcan Tire? They have good prices on Falkans and for me, shipping was only $11 per tire so even if you can find a tire a bit cheaper elsewhere, it still costs more when you include the shipping charges.

bell tire is FTL, they ****ed up the rims on my bros evo and wouldnt do anything a bout it. They also took 4 years to change the tires.

I got mine put on at discount and ordered my conti's through tirerack.

I guess it depends all on what kind of tire shop rookie you end up with. Some are competent, most are worthless with very few exceptions. No offense, I used to be one.
