My mechanic i'm sure could use his Jesse James tactics to get them off, but I'd rather not... TIA This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | Are you talking about loosing the key to one of your aftermarket locking lugnuts? Try contacting the manufacturer of the lugs and see if you can get a replacement key. If you can't, I've heard that you can use a hammer to slam a socket over the lug and remove it with an impact wrench. I've also heard other people have used a dremel or cutting wheel to create a cut in the lug and then used a hammer and chisel to effectively split the lug in half. Once again, those are thing I've read have worked for some people. If you try doing any of those be careful as you run the risk of damaging your wheels, lugs (that's pretty much a given), or studs. |
