| Grassroots STI Racer | My friend has those on his WRX, and there pretty good, not sticky enough for me though heh. If your looking for a good tire thats pretty cheap, check out the hankooks RS2's, http://www.edgeracing.com/tire/1527/ I have them on my integra and they're good tires for the price. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | My friend had the KDW's (basically same tire, but different tread pattern) on his Acura RSX-S. They seem to have very good feedback and stiff sidewalls compared to their competition. But naturally they lack the grip of some of the softer compound tires such as the Falken RT615's and Kumho MX. The Kumho MX has to be one of the best buys for max performance summer tires that do well in the rain. |

The Falken RT615's will be a few bucks more than the Kumho MX, but I think you'll find them to be better in dry conditions and worse in the wet than the Kumho's. The Falken's also have stiffer sidewalls. I think it's safe to say that the Kumho's are the more practical street tire and the Falken's are the better autocrossing tire but both are very good for the money. | Grassroots STI Racer | I personally think the Hankook RS2's are a better tire then the MX. Everyone who has driven or riddin my integra has been amazed at how good the hankooks are. The price is also pretty unbeatable. The only thing is the treadwear is 200, but they do last pretty long. RT615's do corner better then the hankooks in the dry, but the hankooks are better then the 615's in the wet. |
