| Amateur STI Driver | Like the Title says.. I have 3 options.. I have used the RE070's and they are great. Second set was the RT 615..also a great tire but not as stiff of a sidewall. I got 20k out of each set. RT 615 is now available for $108 at Vulcan for the 225/45/17 RE 070 @ Tireraack for $185 for 225/45/17 Advan Neova AD07 for $185 at Vulcan for 225/45 or 235/40/17 last option is the 245/45/17 RT 615 which I think will have softer sidewall/squishy feel. My current RT615 are almost gone plus I found a nail in the front left yesterday at laguna seca..I'll post videos and pictures soon. Thanks to all that contribute to this... IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | why dont you try theese? http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....el=Exclaim+UHP i have them and absolutely love them. i almost couldnt believe it because of the price. they hold up great in rain and dry wether. i havnt had a chance to try them out in snow yet, but ive heard from a few other people who have them and they said theyre pretty good in anything under a 8 or 9 inches of snow. after that, they still do their thing, its just a little more un predictable. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2005 Trader Rating: (9) | Buy a set of low mileage RE070s takeoffs from someone on here or NASIOC. Advan 046s (Stock Evo tire) takeoffs would be nice too. I'll probably start hunting for a set of STi or Evo takeoffs soon. |
