LM-22 and LM-25 are listed under "Performance Winter". They're for people like me who live where it is cold all winter but only snows a few times. They provide better dry road and wet road performance than full-on winter tires, and they have higher speed ratings. The tradeoff is less ultimate performance in ice and snow. They're still exceptional snow tires, light years better than any all seasons I have owned. RFT = Run flat. Unless you have a pressure monitoring system they are kind of a waste of money. Plus they weigh more than an equivalent non run flat tire. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. | |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2005 Trader Rating: (1) | What about these iv really been thinking about getting these since the LM-25's someone said wear away really quick on dry pavement if there is no snow dont know how true that is but thats just what i heard that the tread wears reaaly quick if theres no snow... these sound like a good choice...The Pirelli Winter 210 SottoZero. Im in Jersey and its a crap shoot if we get lots of snow or a little bit of snow...so these seemed good for if theres deep snow light snow or no snow driving on dry pavement. I had the Sumitomo HTR+ allseasons on for the past 3 winters and they id really well in the dry pavement light snow and in deep 8 + inches of snow so i figured id go with these winter tires that they say are good in deep, light and no snow what do you guys think??? another one i was thinking about was this one the Pirelli 240 SnowSport. Oh yeah whats the diffrence between one version and the RFT version of the same tire???? Info and comments would be great Thanks Winter SottoZero http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....+210+Sottozero 240 SnowSport http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....+240+SnowSport |
