Default Will 16x8 wheels from a 3rd gen RX-7 fit an 07 STi?

Pretty much summed it up in the title, I have spare set of wheels from my FD I'd like to use as winter wheels on the new STi, the bolt pattern is the same but the offset might be wrong? Anybody every tried it? Oh these are not the stock RX-7 wheels, although they are very close in size. The brand name is ATS some German company I guess, the wheels are from like 1992 or something. Thanks!

They probably won't fit. As far as I'm aware there aren't any 16" wheels that fit over the oem STi brembo's. You can swap the fronts out for the smaller brakes (there are a few other countries that get an option for smaller wheels/brakes, and I believe some of the other upgraded subie brakes work).

what is the bolt pattern and offset? even if they are both ok the rims still might not clear the brembo's.

Hmm yeah hadn't thought of the rotors being too large. I do have a set of Fikse FM-5's on the 7 but they are staggered 17x8.5 and 17x10, I'm guessing staggered wheels on an AWD vehicle is not a great idea, plus will 17x10's even fit in the rear?

no 10" wheel will fit in the rear without serious suspension work, and body work.

Please tell me why you'd need a staggard (F narrower than the R) on an STi?

plus your tire diameters would need to be identical! and that is when they are mounted on the wheel, not just on paper.

on to the original question, you can get them to fit if you buy the 5x114.3 Group N subaru 4-pot/2-Pot brake setup. all though those particular wheels may not clear the subaru 4pots, you'd be able to run certain 16" wheels.

I was looking to save money, I don't think buying new brakes would save me any money hehe. Thanks for the info though all.

there are cheap ASA wheels on Tire rack that will clear your brembos.
