Default Enkei or52 v.s. Rota torques

I have been going crazy trying to decide on a winter set up, may become a permanent set up. What do you guys think i should do...anthracite enkei OR52, 18 x 8.5 or rota torques (black), same size. 06 APEN WHITE

I don't know if it's go with an 18x8.5" rim for winter use, especially a rim as sexy looking at that. I think I would cry if I banged one up.

winter tires in 18 = $texas and not much selection

winter tires in 17 = cheaper and more choices

You will really be better off with a 17 for winter use. Sidewall is your friend in ice and snow. My personal opinion is use the stockers for winter and get a set of 18s for the rest of the year.

Reason for 18" is because with the enkei's I can't get the 8" width. They might just wind up being my all year set up only, f**k cleaning these gold bbs every week for an hour..I have other **** to do on my one day off!...where is the wheel whore when you need him!

If its winter then you dont have to clean your BBS everytime, Get Gram lights and use them after winter.

Don't really have the cash for the Gram Lights at this time. So I figured I would get something half decent at least. The tires would be coming off anyway.

I'd do one of the Rotas that come in 17x7.5 that work. Then put on a 215 tire on it. I wouldn't buy a "nice" wheel to run during the winter with all the road salt and what not. I bought Rota Torques last year specifically for winter use.

I was looking at winter setup's myself with the Enkei or52

Does anyone know if 17x7 42 offset rims will clear brembo's? I know they clear 4pots.

Help!
