IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | Great to see the responses. I guess I can look at about 7k more miles to go. I am looking at some new lighter weight performance tires. Anyone running with the Carbon Fiber reinforced tires yet? |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | i am kinda mad about my tires. i have 9700 miles on my 06 sti and last oil change i had to replace a tire with a nail in it and today i take it in for another oil change, and the same tire has not one, but two nails in it...that means i have had to buy 2 new tires at 320 installed from subaru!! this f-ing car is expensive but its worth it. what other type of tires would you reccomend? |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | I just got ~1500 miles out of a set of Hankook RS2's before they hit the wear bars. That's with about 25 autocross runs, 18 on tire shredding concrete. I'm trying to decide if I want to go back to RT615's or give the 070's another shot. |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | I thought I was rough on mine, but I got between 12,000 - 15,000 miles out of them (lost track of when I put the snowtires on). Better than many of you. |

Wear markers are in between the tread. There a few different depth markers, and some are thicker than the others. They look like a little bump. Tire rack can tell you how to read them. I am not going to go into it because i do not have the time, but it is pretty straight forward. VAN This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. | |
