Default WHITE STI on PRODRIVE GC010G and Hoosier 245/35-18

SSR's went BYE BYE and the PD010G's moved in like a new girlfriend in a empty house.

18x8 with 46offset. Bri-ish Black is the color.

The pics suck because I didnt use the Rebel, and the sun was going down.

Your thoughts?????????

Oh and I kept the SSR for almost a year this time.

Dammmmmmn Myles, that looks good. We are now officially twins (minus the wing). When do those Hoosiers get broken in on the track?

I was thinking about getting those tires since my 06' is not my DD. Besides wearing out quickly is there any downside for rolling slicks on the street being an AWD car?

If you don't mind me asking, how much do the GC-010Gs weigh?

thanks, it took about 2 months to figure out what I wanted.

What I want to order is custom Nissan fitments from Prodrive. 18x9 with 47mm offset, and buy different centering rings...............

Well everyday I looked at your perfectly detailed and manicured CGM I was jealous beyond eating..............LOL.

It does take some getting used to though. I have always had wheels that "stood out" more, and these are low key , and kinda ask to be admired than " in your face" lik eJDM GOLD , or SSR Comps polished lips were.

As for the Hoosiers, I have another set and so like in the old days when we drove the Porsche to Watkins Glen on Hoosiers, I am driving to Petite on these, BUT...I am not running that much negative at all. I had no choice really.
1).The tires I wanted are not available yet,
2) Bryce wanted Daddy to take the "whte car".
3). I have another set of these I am picking up in 2 weeks, in addition to my extra set at the shop.
4. Makes me feel young again to do it. We used to drive Hoosiers on the street to commute once they were done with their heat cycles.

So , no I would never do it with like -3.0 camber, plus with Bryce in the car we have to stop more often anyway.

Well they are not shaved , so thats good, BUT yes you do run the risk of a puncture etc. So no its not advisable, but when I used to run them on the street it was the old version that didnt have steel in them...back when a 285/40-18 fornt tire weighed 12lbs......yeah, the Porsche actually made more wheel HP with Hoosiers on because you dropped about 18 lbs per drive wheel in rotational weight.

On a sie note these weight less than my Pirelli Corsa 235/40-18 I ran for 2 years plus on 3 different set of SSR forged wheels.

18 lbs.

And if I could choose any wheel, it would have been the GC06D...as it is still the king wheels in my opinion.
