what is the offset of the stock 04 sti wheels. was wondering because i wanted to know if i could put 245/40's on the stock wheels without rubbing. also the rims i want are 18x8 with a 48mm offset with that can i run 245/35 or 255/35 wheels with those rims??

I believe the stock offset is +53.

and yes you can run a 245/40 17 on a stock wheel assuming you're still using your stock (or stock style) struts.

and with the 18x8s it depends on what suspension you're running to determine the correct size tire.
