I say get the 17s for a bit more sidewall which could result a better ride and cheaper tires

Volk is willing to do custom colors, but you'll have to pay for it and wait.

Bronze, Gold, and Titanium Silver are the only three "standard" colors. For the CE28N.

From the pics i've seen, ti-gunmetal looks different in varying lights.

I would personally have liked them the same shade of gunmetal as my old Work Emotion's, but they're still incredibly hot nonetheless.

Oh baby!

CE28n's come in a few Different colors. As T3h_Clap mention:

Gold, Titanium Silver, and Bronze are the standard colors.

Limited Edition Colors include: Mercury Silver, Gunmetal, Titanium Gunmetal, and Diamond Black.

Diamond black is inbetween "Black" and "Titanium Gunmetal". It's slightly darker then my wheels but not as dark as black.

Titanium Gunmetal as Huy mentioned appears to change color depending on the light. In direct sunlight its a medium silver, in the shade it turns rather dark, especially if your wheels are dirty.

Gunmetal is a few shades lighter then Titanium Gunmetal, but slightly darker then the stock silver STi BBS.

Titanium Silver is pretty much the same shade as the stock silver BBS wheels only slightly lighter.

Mercury Silver can be compared to chrome.

If you want to see a specific color let me know, and I'll see if I can find some pics.

That is the *exact* wheel I want. In that color. 18" But after looking at sizing it doesn't look like they make an 8" or 8.5" in a good offset.

where were you looking?

they have a +40mm and +52mm in the 18x8.5

you've got the inboard clearance so the +52mm wouldn't be bad.

they also make a 18x9 +40mm and if you ran some camber you'd be fine

(NOTE: Mykl doesn't have a normal suspension)

I suppose the 18x8.5 in +40 might be ok... it would certainly be borderline though. What I don't like about the +52 is that the wheels may be sunken in a bit more than I would like. Ideally I would be looking for a +43 to +46.

But since I'll be running ~2.5 degrees of negative camber up front, and roughly 1.5 degrees in the back, the +40 may actually be a perfect fit.

If you have a 2004 STi the only options you have in 18 x 8.5 are +40 and +44. (2005's have a few more options due to wider rear fenders and a different bolt pattern)

I have those exact wheels in 18 x 8.5 +44, and they sit pretty flush with the fenders. (To the point that they rub when I turn and have people in the rear. ) If you go with +40 and aren't on the stock suspension, there's a good chance you'll rub.

Ooooh that explains it. Then you have a few other options but no +44 . I'd stick with an offset in the 40's or you could try what Esemes did and go with the +52 Titanium Gunmetal CE28's using wheel spacers.

You shouldn't have any fender rubbing issues at all, but there's a possibility you may experience rubbing on your struts, although I'm not 100% sure, you should be fine.

Eek! Don't stress me out more than i already am! I honestly hope that isn't an issue. This was the offset i was recommended by Rays & the shop(s) i made enquiries through.

The 06 STI hub isn't any different to the 05 correct? Because i know a few guys running +52 with the same coils on their 06's without any hassles.
