Bronze, Gold, and Titanium Silver are the only three "standard" colors. For the CE28N.

I would personally have liked them the same shade of gunmetal as my old Work Emotion's, but they're still incredibly hot nonetheless. ![]() Oh baby! Titanium Gunmetal as Huy mentioned appears to change color depending on the light. In direct sunlight its a medium silver, in the shade it turns rather dark, especially if your wheels are dirty. Gunmetal is a few shades lighter then Titanium Gunmetal, but slightly darker then the stock silver STi BBS. Titanium Silver is pretty much the same shade as the stock silver BBS wheels only slightly lighter. Mercury Silver can be compared to chrome. If you want to see a specific color let me know, and I'll see if I can find some pics. Last edited by 300hp@6000rpm; 09-25-2006 at 06:58 PM.

they have a +40mm and +52mm in the 18x8.5 you've got the inboard clearance so the +52mm wouldn't be bad. they also make a 18x9 +40mm and if you ran some camber you'd be fine ![]() (NOTE: Mykl doesn't have a normal suspension)

But since I'll be running ~2.5 degrees of negative camber up front, and roughly 1.5 degrees in the back, the +40 may actually be a perfect fit.

I have those exact wheels in 18 x 8.5 +44, and they sit pretty flush with the fenders. (To the point that they rub when I turn and have people in the rear. ) If you go with +40 and aren't on the stock suspension, there's a good chance you'll rub.For sizing go here: http://www.mackinindustries.com/md/r...n_spec.jpg.gif

. I'd stick with an offset in the 40's or you could try what Esemes did and go with the +52 Titanium Gunmetal CE28's using wheel spacers. Last edited by 300hp@6000rpm; 09-26-2006 at 01:42 PM.

You shouldn't have any fender rubbing issues at all, but there's a possibility you may experience rubbing on your struts, although I'm not 100% sure, you should be fine.

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | Eek! Don't stress me out more than i already am! I honestly hope that isn't an issue. This was the offset i was recommended by Rays & the shop(s) i made enquiries through. The 06 STI hub isn't any different to the 05 correct? Because i know a few guys running +52 with the same coils on their 06's without any hassles. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
