Default Wheel rubbing issues on Lowered 04 STI

Hey guys I hope someone out there can help me with my problem. My problem/question is as follows: I am having some rubbing issues with my 04 STI when I turn sharply to the left or right. I lowered my car with Tein Tech S Springs and Im still running stock BBS rims. I ran the car for 6 months with no rubbing problems until I replaced my Tires with BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2. size: (225/45/R17). The rubbing is coming from the front and I think the front wheels are rubbing the inner fender lining. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it. I think 5mm spacers will fix the problem. Am I correct or is there something Im missing.

Thanks for the help.

First thing would be to get some better springs that don't lower the car so much.

that's really about it.

All you are probably rubbing is your inner plastic fender liner. Take a wheel off and take a look around. I had the same issue when I went with my new wheels. You never noticed it before for two reasons: One, your old tires were probably a little worn so they were smaller in diameter and two, the KDW are not only new, but may be a smidge larger overall. If I am right, all you have to do is remove or shave down a small portion that you are rubbing.

Thans guys. Any other thoughts. Will a spacer work for me or will it cause more problems.
