that ride height you should be good, you may be able to slowly go lower and lower.

but the issue with 2004s are there aren't many wheels available.

upgrade to 2005 hubs?

Not willing to upgrade to '05 hubs,I already have the stock rims plus a set with my snow tires mounted. Two additional sets of rims plus the upgraded hubs would blow my bank account more than I can justify to my wife.

hmm, well I'll see if i can find a viable option for you.

17x8 +45mm RPF1 wouldn't be a bad wheel if you only ran a 245.

may or may not need a small spacer to clear the teins but you should be ok.

teins seem to have a narrower spring perch which is good for clearance.

I guess there are a lot of people in the same boat as I am.

I can not justify upgrading to 05 hubs as the lower bracket on the KW coilovers is not designed to allow swaping. So I would have to replace not only the hubs, but also the coilovers.

It sounds like RPF1 in 17 X 8 might work for me too. T3h_Clap: do you think there is enough advantage to the 8.5 inch rims with 245 tires and enough difference in strength to warrant the price differential between the volk ce28n and the rpf1 wheels?

My ride height is about 13.75 and 13.25 inches front and rear right now. This puts the control arms horizontal which seems to be agreed upon as the ideal.

Thanks again for all the advice. After we settle the wheel question, let's start on the questions of where is the best place to buy them and which tires will go on them.

I'd say get the RPF1s if you're asking that question. you have to be very sure that you want to drop 2K on wheels to drop 2K on wheels, know what i mean?

with a fender roll you should be able to handle the RPF1s +45mm offset and some 245s.

Contact Josh @ Import Image (tell him RPF1 Drew sent ya ) he's the guy to go to for Enkei's

T3h Clap,
Thanks for all the useful advice. I'll be giving Josh@importimage a shout for pricing on the Enkei's.
