Are all Subaru wheel locks the same? I just got a set of used locks with some wheels and the key fits all the subaru locking lugs that I have.

Default 3 BMW's and now STI

I have stock Suby locks AND Gorrilla locks on my wheels now. I just bought a spare set of used wheels and the guy gave me his Suby wheel locks along with the deal. So i'm just wondering if all Suby locks are the same.
Btw, the Suby locks are made by Mcgard.

it seems to me that all the subaru locks are mcgard. i think i remeber the guy in my service dept. telling me they either have 5 or 10 different ones, not which it is. doesn't seem like high security to me!

I have Gorilla nuts. Supposedly they have tens of thousands of variations. Went cheap and only did the one nut per wheel set. One is a LOT bigger than the regular nuts.

Had to leave my baby for a business trip and wanted to make the wheels hard to get on short notice. Bought the locks Friday and flew Monday at 6 am.

how about those spline drive lugs? only downside, and it's a big one, they are like $225.00 for a complete set. have to check and see if they're all the same, or if they have some kind of security lug that's different that the rest.
