Default Toyo RA1 or Yoko A032r's ?

Hey all, just need some recomendations from anyone who has run either of these tires on 2+ mile road courses. These will not be used at all for street driving as the car will be built for road course racing and time attacks. With that said, I have ruled out tires such as Falken Azenis, Bridgestone Potenza Re01r's and other high performance street tires as they cannot hold up as well after 20+ minute sessions of extreme cornering and braking. They may be excellent for short autocross sessions but I will not be using the car for autocross. I am either going to run 235's or 245's.

So what do you think?

yokohama A032r
Toyo Ra1
Nitto NT01

I have run both the Nitto and the Toyo. While a buddy I run with has been dedicated to the Yokohama A032R. I personally think that the Nitto is the best tire for dry lapping, the grip and wear were fantastic. The Toyo is a great rain tire at full depth, and a great dry tire at 2-4/32nds tread. As far as the A032R goes, it is a great tire for the money, you can get them dirt cheap on tirerack right now. All in all I do not believe that the tire charectoristics are as good as either the toyo or the nitto. They are also very very loud.

Since the car is for track only, I would say get the Nitto NT01's. They harden up from heat cycling pretty fast, but since it's a track only car that wont matter. That is the only bad thing I have heard about them. All great feedback otherwise.

the A032Rs are more of a autox compound

you may want to consider the A048s from Advan, although those are much more expensive.
