Default jdm wheel crisis

I'm trying to decide which wheels I should get.....Work Emotions or Advan RGII. The Emotions are a lot cheaper than I thought they were gonna be, but I love the gold color on the Advans.

-Work Emotions $320 or so.
-Advan RGII $545 or so.

What would u do and why?

i have work emotion cr kai on my car and they fit real nice under STi brembo. i would go w/ Advan RGII if i had more money back then.

you can always get 2 each since u only see your car one side at a time, just make sure they are the right size. lol

rg2s. everyone is rocking the cr kai's. they are sweet wheels, but try something different. plus forged wheels are much better than cast IMO. I say if you have the cheese to up the ante to Advans, more power to you, take some pictures and show them off.

wow, people are spending $2k on cast?? there are probably loads of forged options in that price range. i spent a little more on the sti rays (forged). not for everyone, but i love 'em. $2400 (included 2-day air shipping from japan).

Economics dude.....

Package 1 -
Cast gold rims
Cobb Accessport
Cobb Catted DP

Package 2 -
Cast gold rims

Take your pick smart guy. Not that I have to justify any of my parts to anyone, I didn't buy them to "pass them off" as Advans (I'm running the freaking Rota centre caps for god's sake). I bought them because they look great and they're cheap. If you wanna start another Rota bashing thread, go ahead, but don't waste this guy's space (go for the RGII's by the way).
Start another thread, I'll meet you there.

nah no need, i think most people know my opinion on actually purchasing rotas.

and rota cast != Advan Cast.

to the OP, the RGIIs are nice and so are the KAIs but it really comes down to what look you want.

they are two very different style wheels, there are plenty of examples floating around the board of each.

take your pick and post them up

+1 for RG's, but personally I'm not spending the $ on wheels like that unless I'm tracking the car all the time or entering car shows where name brand matters.

Oh boy time to get the flame suit on.Saying cast wheels are created equal is a false statement.Rotas/Works are cast & CAN be kinda heavy depending on model.Advans are cast but light.I love my RGII's but may sell them for the TCII's.Also check for used wheels. Some great buys can be found.
