IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | I have the KDW 2s and I absolutely love them. They're a bit noisy at highway cruising speeds but they sure grip nicely. I've had a couple of sets on my Jetta and now I have them on the STi. |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | I don't like my kdw2s. I autocross them a lot. the sidewall is weak...sometimes it sounds and feels like i am driving on the lip of my rims. I'm about to replace them due to wear, and they are so noisy @ highway speeds that I can barely maintain conversations comfortably with passengers. |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | I have the KDW2's as well. I have 12k miles on them and it looks like they arent even half way done. If you can hear them then either A. Your exhaust is not loud enough or B. Your speakers are too low. The noise of the tires dont bother me. But for daily driving on these tires, they are just awesome... Ecspecially in the wet. |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2005 Trader Rating: (2) | Exactly, the KDW2 is what one would consider a great street tire with good wet and dry traction. They are not very good for motorsports at all though, they have a soft sidewall and they will chunk on tracks when they get hot and pushed hard. |

I have the kdw on my 18s and I like them ok. Not as much flat out performance as the stock potenzas, but they serve my purposes just fine. | |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2003 Trader Rating: (0) | I am considering these after my Nitto's run out, I have 30,000 on the Nitto's and they are still great, just have a little inside wear due to my camber. Still undecided if I want to switch or not. Probably staying with Nitto since they seem to be quieter on the highway. |
