Default Will 17x8 +43 FN01R-C's clear the Brembos?

Please say YES. I ordered a set today.

I saw a car with them on and I failed to notice that they were 17x9 +43.

I don't see why they wouldn't because they're the same offset.

But upon second look, it doesn't say the 17x8 +35 in a 5x114.3 bolt pattern fits, but the 17x8 +35 in a 5x100 does.

haha, yea, the 17x8 +48 don't fit, but will with a spacer (+43 will fit) 5x100/5x114.3

The 17x8 +35 fit, but is a little too extreme offset. 5x100/5x114.3

And yes, the +43 17x9 fits

Yeah, I wouldn't buy the wheels if I had to go with the +35.

Thanks again, it's good to know that I didn't accidentally order $800 worth of paper weights.

Later I'm ordering a second set in 17x9 for race tires. The 17x8's are for the street.

I will send him a PM.

oh ok, i j/ replied to your PM.

in theory the 17x8 +43mm should clear the brembos if they have the same wheel face as the 17x8 +48mm.

I'm still going to try and track down some real confirmation that they clear the Brembos for you.

how did i miss this thread!! haha must've actually been working

what suspension are you going to run? have you already bought rotors? Project Mu makes one piece slotted rotors that are dual drilled. PM if you have questions (keep this on topic).

Damn dude, you found the info I've been searching for all afternoon in the wierdest spot! I never would have thought to look there.

Thanks for the quick response, I came back here to send you the link to my thread and you already replied.

To answer your question in the PM... I'm going with the 17x8's because I don't really want 9" wide wheels for the street. I can run 225/45-17 RS-2's which are dirt cheap to replace. I plan on purchasing 9" wheels for track only tires later on, sometime before next season.

Answered the suspension and brake questions in a PM.

Thanks!

[Jack Black after kicking Baxter off the bridge]That's how I roll [/JBaKBoTB]

pm'd ya back.

I agree 9" is a little wide for street use, not as in it doesn't fit, just that it's excessive.

keep us posted on how things fit, when are you doing the swap to the new hubs? did you get the 6gunracing kit?

any new pics with them rolled? how'd they roll the rear anyway?

your wheels will be doing double duty so it makes sense to use the best setup for both.

for me (2 sets of wheels) no reason to go 9" for the street.
