Yep, that's why I'm going with 8" for the street. If they had to pull double duty I'd definitely go with 9" wide wheels though.

Nope, no pics yet, will get some in a couple weeks (when the car is officially done) they actually cut the lip off. but looks and feels ok so far.

Yep, i'm to poor for 2 sets of wheels

I guess they just touched up or something, they said they had to use some paint. I'm going to look more tonight, but no bare metal, and completely smooth......

hell...you could probably do it with a dremel and a metal cut off wheel, and then dab some touch up paint on it. (i think thats what they did basically)

nope, not yet that i know of, i have to do some tests, it wasn't rubbing that bad (i couldn't hear it, but could tell as my tires are getting sliced up)

The wheels have been shipped... soon I'll have a pretty set of wheels sitting next to my pretty set of tires, which will later be joined by some pimp-ass '05 wheel bearings with front hubs..... and eventually, just maybe I'll pick a suspension to complete the parts collection.

My small apartment is about to look like a parts store.

are you getting the specialty parts from the guys at 6gunracing?

That'd be the one. The only specialty part in the kit is an adapter that allows you to use '04 axles in the '05 hubs though.
