I think you may want to consider the PZeros, I love mine, they went through snow this past winter like it was nothing(of course in VA we don't get that much snow, we got like 5 inches total, but hey they worked for me!) they handle great dry and in rain IMO, and they wear well.....I don't think you will be disappointed....whatever your choice, good luck to you!

I've had my ContiExtremeContacts for ~10k and love 'em.

Took them through ~6-10" snow during a noreaster to go snowboarding and they handled like a champ! You sacrifice a little dry handling due to the softer sidewalls, but it definitely makes your ride more comfortable than the RE070s.

Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S, have had great luck with them. They are great in the summer. they tend to get a little hard though in the snow, which isnt the greatest. But im happy with them.

How's the road noise on those P-Zero's compared to the stockers?

I have the Pzeros as well. However, they weren't so great on the snow for me . I think it had a lot to do with my balancing though. It was off by a lot! But they are great tires in the dry also.

I used the Nokian WRs last winter and was EXTREMELY pleased with them. I even used them this march at an HPDE and was impressed in their grip on the track with temps in the 30s.

I mounted them on a set of Rota Boosts for my winter wheels.

Tires are 225X45X17 and wheels are 17X8.

But when it warms up I go back to my RE070s... Gotta love the grip and stiff sidewalls

has anyone though about getting 245/45/17 for winter tires to get a lil more clearance? Can We put anything bigger with out rubbing? or Taller? Something Taller even if it has to be 225's Just trying to get that extra ground clearance. specially after some rce springs (haven't done it yet waiting till october)

Can we go w/ a wider wheel on stock rims w/o rubbing issues? Just wondering.

I've been using the Nokian WRs as well and i've been very happy with them. they are actually quieter than the 070s. probably not the best thing for deep snow, but they don't totally suck when it's dry out.
