Has anyone actually weighed the stock bare rims? How much?

Jim

Rim itself....I'm not positive, but I just shipped out the full mounted stock setup (BBSs with RE070s on), and two of them babies in a box weight 94lbs! That's ~45lbs a corner.

so 45-27 = 18 and 45-29 = 16 so 16-18lbs per wheel? That doesnt sound too far off?

Yea, I weighed one wheel at 42 lbs on my bathroom scale. My 7.5x17 sub zeros weigh 42 lbs also with 225-45-17 Azenis, and I know those rims are about 16.5 lbs, so I guess the BBS are close to that.

Ok, got winter tires today, forgot my scale but the stock RE 070 weighs 27 lbs (you're right), so 42-27=15. Plus or minus a little for bathroom scale.

Default Picked up my Silver/Silver on Friday

On my digital lithium bathroom scale I got 16.5lbs per rim and 42lbs for the rim and tire combo. My new 235/45/17 Continental extremes weighed the same as stocks.

BUMP...

Just wondering whether anyone has weight information on the UKDM or the JDM or even the ADM (Australian) stock STi wheel?

Would be interested to know the weight and offset if anyone has the info?

Thanks.
