^^^ Well, that depends on how much camber are you going to run. I'm not sure how stiff are your springs but what offset are your wheels? It's important to get the offset right to run wide wheels without much fender mods. Depends on the spoke design, if you stay within 42-45mm offset on the 9" wheel and max out the camber in the back, you have a good chance of not rubbing.

I was running RCE T2 coilovers with 500/lb front and 400/lb rear. I also had -2.7 front camber and -1.7 rear without any fender mods no rubbing.

My new setup info and picture is on page 78 and thread 1157. Check it out.

Just think about ANY performance aspect of your STi...ANY...and then realize that these wheels kill it. Oh, also, take your ABS unit out of your car and throw it away. Aaah man, please get rid of them. Please.
Lol, calm down people.
I dont like them either
They were only on the car for 1 week, then I took them off. The car handled like crap with them on. They are too big and too ugly. Ive been trying to sell them for a few weeks now but funny enough I cant seem to get rid of them hehe. Im currently using the stock gold 17s
I have my eyes on some Volk GTFs in gunmetal grey. If anyone has any pics of them on an 06/07, I would love to see them.

Wow, missed that. Sorry. I am glad to see that a STi is being rescued from whatever you want to call that disaster. 19's will look sick but your brakes will look really bad because the gap is going to be to large and the rotors are going to look thinny. Also, your performance will still suffer significantly and your ABS as well because you will change the overall tire diamater unless you go really low profile on the tire, but that will cost you lots and lots.

Get some nice 18's that weigh under 20lbs (volks are good about that) and that will leave you options for a BBK and if not, they still look good with the stock. Your handling might improve a bit too if you keep the tire diameter the same.

Yea, Im really tempted to get some 19" volks and go a 235/35/19 tyre.
Ive already consulted the wheel_whore and he assures me this setup will work fine.
Im not fussed on cost of rubber because for me its only going to be a DD, with mostly highway travelling.
So, if my over wheel diameter and rolling circumference stays the same do you think it will still adversely effect my performance and ABS function?
