Discount tire...they were shipped in from various stores nationwide so it took about a week to get everything together. At the time, the wheels and tires were still "new", nobody in Houston stocked a single one of anything - the 615 had been released the week before in the 255-40, and the Zigens had just come out in that width and offset. It was literally a toss-up between these and the bronzes; and honestly I wanted a set of Volks 6-spoke in bronze, or the Prodrives ^^^. But the price was right, so that's cool.

Now one thing I must say, these rims are machined and that carries everything that that implies. When washing them for the first time, I scraped/scratched the hell out of my knuckles. That inside edge is mean! But they clean up really nice. Almost have a tiny chrome lip going.

i dont think those volks were meant for mud, CLEAN those up!
