Default dang! went to mount my RPF1's and the wheel weights rub the Brembo calipers...

the shop placed the weights (inside tape type) in obviously what was the best location since you can't get an edge weight on without destrying the rim finish.

so some of the weights are right inline with the calipers and there is barely a piece of paper width between them.

bugger! now i have to lug them back down the street and have them re-spin balance them.

I was very worried that my winter HT3's would have the same problem. But tirerack used low profile taped weights that gave about 5 mm clearance.

I just have the clip them back on the sides like the OEM ones. No clearance problems at all.

that's what they are doing now. they were concerned with "beauty", so they went to the inside sticky weights.

i said, "fark the looks, i need high speed stability!"

problem solved.
