So, its time to get some pads for me..

Who are available?
How much are they?
Who has them?
Why you like them? (in case you have used them)

Default RE: Any bad aspects of the Whiteline Steering Rack Bushings?

NO! Do not get the porterfield R4-S. Maybe R4 for the track, but the R4-S are horrible on this car. Read this thread here:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=660834

After I wrote my input they just kept getting worse and worse until I finally gave up and went back to stock, and that's with over half the pad left. they were that bad, and to answer your questions, yes, I did bed them in properly. now don't get me wrong, they are great on my friend's M Roadster, and they are great on my Wife's Outback, but they are not a good match for this car. I'm thinking of trying the new ceramic EBC red stuffs or Hawk HP+ for this upcoming season. In regards to the porterfields, for the money I expected quite a bit more, and was rather disappointed.

Endless pads are great. Many compounds available for different applications.

I think I met you at the D1, we ate at IHOP before teh event. I was in the dirty black STi and we talked about this very subject.

As for pads,

I just installed Endless SS-S's They are a street/light track pad. So far, they seem great. Not as loud as stock. The initial bite doesn't seem that much, but then just a little more pressure on the pedal and you'll have a very nice controlled braking. I haven't gotten on the brakes too much yet, but i will soon.

FYI:
I resurfaced my rotors, and in retrospec, i should have just replaced them. They are 30mm stock and the min is 28mm. After resurfacing, they were about 28.3mm. So to save you a little hassle, i'd reccomend just replacing the front rotors, rears should be fine w/o resurfacing.

Hey Reid! How ya' doing? You are correct, that was me at IHOP.

I'm glad you popped in here as I am considering pads for the upcoming autoX season. let me know when you get a chance to really get on those pads hard. I'd like to know how they do.
