Caliper Removal

Has anyone removed the front right brake caliper w/o removing the strut bolt? How?

I can't get a socket on the top caliper bolt because of the proximity of the strut bolt.

Any ideas.

Use a wrench?

box end wrench should work just fine. The service manual has no special reference to remove the strut bolts.
