Default Anyone have Weds SA-70's? Im going with the 18's but what offset is best?

Hey guys like it says I am really digging the weds SA-70 wheel in black chrome but there is two offset options. 18x8 36/42. Which would look best. I want to go with the 18x9 but I am not sure what springs to go with. I currently have the crappy s-techs on there.

Pic of Wheels if you are not familiar

I believe the 18x8 +42mm will clear the brembos, and the +36mm will cause rubbing issues due to your suspension choices.

you wont really be able to run anything wider than 18x8.5 on the S-Techs unless you do a good amount of fender modifications.

The S-Techs are going to be history anyways. Im just curious if I go with an 18x9 what springs would do the job.

honestly coilovers are your best bet for an aggressive setup.

but if you had to stay springs i'd either do the Prodrive Reds or the RCE Blacks.

both do not lower the car much and allow for a wider wheel to be ran.

although you still can't go crazy aggressive, so something like a 9 +45mm with either of those springs and a 245 tire would be about right.

Really good info man. Do you think with the RCE Blacks and an 18x9 I will have much wheel gap? I really want to have an agressive look without having a crappy ride quality like I have with the S-Techs.

the RCE Blacks don't lower the car much at all, which is why you can run an 18x9.

to be "low" and run 9" wheels you need coilovers or a good amount of fender work and camber.

Im gonna do this the right way and get coilovers first and then wheels. Any suggestions on which ones I should roll with?

ZZYZX EM Coilovers

TiC SST Coilovers

or

RCE T2 Coilovers

all with camber plates front and rear and some nice stiff springs
