Exclamation Advice on these Wheels Please!

What do you guys think?
Enkei NT03 Light Weight Alloy Wheels 18 x 8.0 / 5 x 114.3 BRAND NEW

Is the offset going to be OK for the brembo's

Is the price right?

I'm still not 100% sold on the look yet, i'm not sure if I'm diggin' the extra link that goes around the wheel.

But if I can get a good deal on them then I could probably learn to like them more!!!

Thanks for the help!

Jay

I'm about 99% sure you should be fine running that wheel, but I would ask T3h C1ap to make sure....

Well I just got an email back from the guy saying that I could get them for $750. So that's about $189/wheel...

Anyone know the weight of these???

for wheel placement it's a good offset.

now i'm not sure if those will clear brembos are not.

the NT03+Ms are kinda tough to tell if they will clear or not due to the unique spoke design.

in theory as long as the spokes are convex you should be ok due to the pad height, but I can't say with 100% certainty they will clear.

and just an FYI Tire rack was selling 17" versions of the wheel for $199 a few weeks back to get an idea on pricing of a used version.

i'll do some more research on that size though if you'd like.

well, after some research I have a feeling those wheels are 18x7.5 and not 18x8.

What makes you think that?

I'm going to email the guy right now and get confirmation on the size...

Thanks a lot Clap!

I know wheels are going to be cheaper in the US but to get something shipped to canada is EXPENSIVE!

I was looking on Tirerack and to ship some tires and wheels it was going to cost me about $300. So it's much more economical to buy within Canada and even better to buy around town!

You are probably correct on the 18x7.5. When I try to search for these on Tirerack they don't show up as an option for the STI....

I really like the NT03+M.

strong, sorta light weight, and inexpensive (when you know where to look).

a friend of mine had a set of 9.5 +44mm's that we were test fitting on my car.

i gotta host those photos.

too bad photobucket is down.

Well I just got an email back from the guy and here is what he had to say:

Quote:
the website is right, and my info is correct as well, the website shown is NT03+M, but mine is just NT03, which is the first generation of the NT series and has discontinue. therefore the offset and the size and spec will be different then the website.

thanks
So what's the difference between the old ones vs the new ones?

I also found these for sale over on Nasioc, and am wondering if they will fit the STI?

I'm always afraid of Nasioc because most of the stuff for sale is for WRX's and not STI's...

Volk Ce28 5x114.3 special gunmetal 18x8.5 +52 offset - NASIOC

What do you think? Good deal? Fitmet?

well if they are discontinued then I'd say not worth it, b/c if you were to curb one you can't get a replacement.

and the 18x8.5 +52mm do clear brembos for both the CE28N and RE30.

the fitment is pretty standard no hassles.

the offset is too high if you plan on running 255s and coilovers.

but it works nicely for a car equipped on stock struts.

it's no where near aggressive if that's the look you're going for.
