Default G-Force T/A KDW-2 vs RE-070 noise level

I was just wondering if the G-Force T/A KDW-2's are really that much louder than the stock RE-070's? Please, I need some new tires ASAP and those g-force are looking good, but I don't want something that's going to be extremely loud/annoying/etc...Thanks!

p.s. I've searched and people say they're both loud...

i have G-Force T/A KDW-2's and they don't seem loud at all. I am on the interstate everyday doing 75 mph and i really don't notice the difference from the stockies.

yeah, my buddy just put the KDW's on his car this past weekend and they didn't seem loud at all. The stockers are about 3time louder if not more.

I'm debating on getting the two tires mentioned. Did the 07's come with RE01R's and not the RE070's? The RE01R's are rated a little better on tirerack but noticed there around $80 more a tire. If the KDW's are quieter than I want those. I currently have the Advan A048 R compound tires and am looking for quiet with a nicer ride and more treadware

Well, I just bought the Ultraleggera HLT 18x8 wrapped in the g-force kdw 2's 235/40/18 for $2,100 shipped. I heard they were noisy, but honestly, people hear my TBE coming from 2 blocks away, so I don't think the tire noise will be an issue... I've also heard they ride better than the RE-070 without substantially sacrificing the average DD 'street' performance. I just wanted a slightly better ride, without breaking the bank. I think with these tires and the new BC racing coil-overs that are getting installed, I'll be happy.

Very very true! The road noise is no longer noticeable with all the other noises going on. What I should've said are tires that don't track to much. Any type of curve in the road makes my car pull to the side like crazy.

Haha. So true. I need new tires and I wish there was a poll showing how many people had what tires.

I have had both. The KDW2's are noticeably louder than the RE070's, to the point where I wouldn't even call the RE070's loud.
