Default Kics R26 Neo Chro Lug Nuts?

My buddy with a g35 bought 2 sets of lug nuts to have 2 locks on each of his wheels so he has a complete set of 20 w/o the locks and he said i could have them they are 12x1.25 and i would like to know if they will fit on my OEM gold bbs on my 04?

The thread pattern is right. You need to make sure the taper is correct.

Well is he means that I think he means, he is talking about the taper for the lug to sit in the rim right?

that is correct. The aftermarket lugs have a taper where the lugs meets the rim. The stock lugs either do not have this taper or are flat. Meaning less contact area. Now, with that being said, my buddy has been running his 5zigen proracer lugs on his sti for about 2 years with no problems.

dosen't work. OEM have a different taper from the 60 degree tuner nuts. also the OEM nuts have a more acorn shape and the kics have a conical. the lug nuts will go on, but there will be less surface area contact. which is a potentially bad situation. My information is from Justin at evasive motorsports.

They don't belong on our stock wheels, wrong taper=dangerous.

less contact on the wheel means less force holding the wheel to your car.

here is an extreme example of what can go wrong:
