just bought 17x7.5 rims for a 07 wrx would they fit on stock wheels?

Will WRX wheels fit on the STi? No.
Why? Wrong PCD (bolt pattern), and they don't clear Brembos as far as I know.
Will the tires for the STi fit on the WRX wheel? Yes.

na i know i made it sound confusing .. im trying to say will 17x17.5 rims fit 07 wrx stock tires.. these are the rims i got.. 17x7.5 Rota G-Force - Gold(5x100/e48/56.1) Wheeldude.com - Professional wheel dealer. #1 Rota Dealer... just let me know

A rim of equal width and diameter to the stock wheel will certainly fit the stock tires. If the stock width was wider, the tire will fit but be a bit stretched on the rim. If the stock wheel was narrower, the tire will be stuffed onto the rim and have a bit of sidewall bulge.

AFAIK, WRX wheels are 17 x 7.5, which is the size you bought. The stock tires should fit identically on the new ones as they did on the stock wheels.

Yea i know .. i think my stock tires are 17x 17 but i cnt find rims that size...

Stock tires will fit that rim. You'll just get a bit of sidewall bulge.

It shouldn't. Play with your tire pressures some to make sure you don't overinflate them.

Those rims are 5x100... won't fit an 06 STi...
