fitment ? advans tcII 18x8.5

hey all, ive searched a bit here and nasioc...

will these fit my sti with no rubbing issues?

i have an 05 (5x114) sti

Advan TCII 5x114 with rt615 - Wheels/Tires - NASIOC

advans tcII 18x8.5 they are 25 offset... (taken from seller)

that doesn't look like a 25 offset to me, but considering they're on a sti now......i'd say they fit. it'll take some fender/camber work tho for sure.

the 18x8.5 +25 offset doesn't come with a GTR Face, hence the flat faced look

im hoping that they fit w/o alot of modification...dont want to drop the $ and have them not fit

haha...im interested in the same rims and contacted the same seller too. he said you had dibs on it first.

they don't look like +25 from the pictures.

i'm not sayin they don;t look like +25 of the face, i'm sayin it cuz they don't look like a +25. +35 maybe. plus he said he just had to trim the rear a little, no way that'd be a +25. +25 would require a pull,and just about every other trick there is

there are some pics if you follow the link from my first post, they are mounted on the sellers car...i cant wait to get these in.

i called gruppe-s and asked them if there would be any rubbing issues or fitment issues since im lowered on tanabe df210's, they informed me that if i dont go any bigger than 255 on the tires i should be ok...

im not sure if they are GTR face or not, would be nice but if not then oh well

my last lingering ? would be if i need hubcentric rings and if i do what size?

all input has been greatly appreciated

ill post pics ones they are installed

you dont need rings, they are on an sti so you should be ok. If your worried about the offset have the seller send you a pic of the et stamp on the inside of the wheel.

i upgraded my brake pads today to project mu carbon and saw the hub rings

as for the offset, seller states that they are 25 offset, already packed for shipping so when they get here ill post
