Default Stock tires new rims

This may be a newbie question. I have 7500 miles on my '07 sti and the tires are still in great shape. Has anyone used their stock tires when buying new 17x8 wheels?

Thanks

Are you asking if they'll fit? I don't see a real question here.

Sorry for the confusion. I am looking into a new set of rims and would like to keep the 17x8 size. Is it a bad idea to use the current stock tires or should i buy a new set? The tires still have alot of tread and would hate to replace them when they are still in great shape.

Tires are tires, man. If the wheels size isn't going to change, then there's nothing to worry about. If you're asking is it okay to remove them and put them on other wheels, then yes.

as long as the tire shop doesn't destroy the bead while removing the tires you can remount them no problem.

your tire shop wont be happy, since the RE070s are stiff as ****.
