Black Stockers on 07 OBP STI

Well, got my stock BBSes powdered Gloss Black.

I was planning to have some custom Gloss Black (not time attack) Volk TE37s in 18x9+40 for the summer, but they've been delayed until June (making an 8 month wait!). So I got some summer tires for my stockers. And since they were going to be done in black anyways, I decided to do it now for my summer changeover.

I REALLY love the look. It changes the appearance of the car so much. THe appearance mods I've done seemed too subtle before, but now that the rims are black to match, everything is coming together.

I'm not finished yet, and the car is dirty right now, but here's a few pics.

A friend is trying to convince me to paint the calipers black... Or maybe I can find a Limited to swap with... Any takers?

Looks sweet. Sorry don't think youll find a swap, not enuff limiteds, they are too limited. heh. I say paint your stockers black thatd be awesome to see!

I have to say I am partial to the dark wheel look.
DONT paint the calipers. You need some contrast.

I sent mine to get PCed about a month ago. I went FLAT black, no gloss whatsoever. I've been waiting on mine to come back... I should call them....

Looks great, this makes me excited to see mine.

Keep the brakes gold.

That's the look I'm going for too. I'm planning on sanding and then painting the stockers flat black. All black with tint FTW

i love black wheels!!!! i have an 06 OBP i've been trying to find black wheels for. still debating on buying aftermarket or having mine painted. either way, love the black wheels!!!!

A cheap knockoff of the Chargespeed V2 lip...painted in rattlecan truck bedliner.

I figure, why pay big money for soemthign that's going to take all the hits?

The stock rims are being painted white to match these, and they'll have my summer tires.

If only it were this easy to get my Volks.
