Default Cheapest vendor for OEM RE070 tires?

I'm needing new tires for my 07 STI Limited, and want to stick w/ the OEM Potenza RE070. I have no experience with any online vendors. Tirerack seems very popular and the website layout is very easy to follow, but I know nothing about them (service, condition of products at arrival, price vs. competitors). I'm a true n00b at this, any advice on new RE070 tires would be much appreciated.

Btw, I did search, but only came up with comparisons of the OEM STI tires vs. Falken, PS2, etc. and found the OEM tires to be what I'm looking for (maximum sidewall stiffness, ultra-responsive steering...). I could care less about wear, noise and ride. If I did, I wouldn't own an STI

your best bet is to look for a barely used take offs in the classified. trying to buy some OEM tires from tireshops such as re070 can be really expensive for some reason.

btw, tire-rack is awesome

I went to Discount Tire. I purchased RE-01r from them. i got them for $143 each plus 1 free. Came out to 640 for everything. RE-01r is way better tire than the re070.

i would not buy a second set of re070s unless they are takeoffs from another sti. they cost way too much from retailers.

Just go to Vulcan Tire Sales - Tires, Tire Chains, Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPMS), and More... Falken - Goodyear - Yokohama - Pirelli - Kumho - Dean - RV Tires and more... and purchase Falken RT615's for your car and be happy and save mula!
