New Volk Racing RE30 Sizing!

Figured I'd let you all know that there will be some new Volk Racing RE30 sizing coming out here in the near future.

18x9 +50mm!!

ooh it's going to be pretty.

All these 2008 STi have no reason to not get this size wheel.

It's going to fit like a charm.

this 18x9 +50mm is to the GR what the 18x8.5 +52mm is to the GD

And I'm assuming the 9" +50 is no good for GD because of strut rubbing?

it may work depending on your suspension setup.

it would work on a car still on stock struts and springs.

the issue would be when lowering the car and fender clearance or when upgrading to coilovers the clearance with the larger strut housings/spring perches.

It would be a good option for someone who wants to go wide wheel/tire but stick to stock height or have a stiff/high enough spring combo to not have fender issues.

they make higher offsets in the same width/diameter for the guys looking for a more aggressive setup on the GD chassis.

wait so these will fit the 06-07 too right? if so is this the biggest offset wheel that fits?

you will be limited in tire widths.

on the GD, the offset is high enough where you run the risk of rubbing with anything wider than 245.

and even with this you need the right suspension, all 9" wheels require the correct suspension.

So whats the diff with the 18 x 9 offset +50 to say 18 x 8.5 offeset +43. Which will you be able to lower more without trouble with the fenders?

it depends on the tire you're hoping to run.

are you only considered about ride height?
