18x9.5 offset +45~48 would be nice.

I would like to put some 265/35 18 tires as they are much lighter than the 275/35 18 ones.
They are also a little bit shorter than the stock tire ,so my car would accelerate a little bit faster .

how about 18x9.5 +47mm

this size RE30 is available and listed to clear brembos.

it's the first thing i'd buy for my 08 STi. (if i were to get one).

That width and deep offset, would you not risk rubbing on the strut?

not on an 08.

08s have an insane amount of room.

alot of guys are running 18x9.5 +45mm and 275s.

so the 18x9.5 +47mm and a 265 would work with very little issues (maybe some minor fender rolling as the 08 can benefit alot from that).

it wouldn't not be an easy fitment and it would come down to which suspension you selected.

how much camber you have at the strut and what size tire.

in other words, there are better options.

the 18x9.5 +40mm is a better choice for the MY05-MY07 cars. the RE30s in that size clear brembos as well.

alot of the 9.5" info can be found on my blog as well.

Very Nice!

The next question: Where can i get them at a good price?

I found many selling RE30 in 18x9 ET35,but that offset seems too aggressive and may require a lot of fender rolling work.

Drew, which face is it? RE30 needs the L face before it starts looking hot!

there are alot of place you can go to get these, finding the right one that will give you the price you're looking for and the service you want is the tough part.

shoot me a PM and I'll give you a short list of the vendors I personally like to deal with.

and yes for an 08 the +35mm isn't "ideal" especially with the 18x9.5 +47mm available. the +35mm sizes are basic EVO fitment, which is why alot of people carry them. Makes sure you get the size you want.

both the 18x9 +50mm and the 18x9.5 +47mm have the S2 face which is small lip slightly concave.

I like the S faces over the L faces personally.

ah thats too bad. S2 is pretty weak looking. Then again, it IS a +50 offset!

the S1 is the weak looking face.

S2 is concave it just isn't S3 or L2.

then again all RE30s look bad ass.

That size is just fine. YOu could run a 245, or maybe even a 255 tire without any problems.
