Default What aftermarket lug for stock wheels

I searched briefly and didnt find anything. Does anyone know of an aftermarket set of lug nuts that are in black that I can safely run with the stock bbs wheels. I heard something about the contact patch and the way the end is has to match or else the wheels can fall off. Any input would be great! Thanks

You are right that the contact patch is different. Subydude used to have some info on this that the contact patch for the stock lug is more convex (Spelling?) where as the contact patch for the aftermarkets is flat.

That is really all the info I have. I run the stockers with the stock rims. I have run Gorilla lugs with after market rims and now running Mcgard.

Here is the info.. if you scroll down the page.
Subydude: A Professional Suby Addict!!

Sorry I dont have any other info on what will fit the stock rims.

I ran those lugs on my stock wheels without a problem. My buddy has been running them on his STi stock wheel without a problem for a year.

Edit: I found them on OAKS: STi & WRX Performance Parts: McGard Spline Drive Lug Set, Black

Is that right?

also does that mean i wont have a locking lug nut anymore so anyone can jack my wheels?

I just ordered a set of Mcgards from the lugshack in CA. I got a set for about $68 shipped.

You need a 12mm x 1.25 lug. These are listed for Subaru. Black as well. They are the exact same as what snorky posted and the same vender, but I discovered if you dont go through ebay, you save $2 in shipping

Black McGard Lug Nuts; 12mm x 1.25

About halfway down the page it says "for aftermarket wheels only." Issue or no?

you need 12mm x 1.25 this is unique to nissan and subaru (subaru is nissan's love child so they share a lot of parts)

Nope. The angle on the face of the seating surface on the lugs relative to the stock lugs is the same. I can take a pic if you like.

Heck, if people are running them, I'm okay with it. I'd presume it will be fairly easy to tell if they don't match the wheels well...at least it will be if the wheels fall off!
