I've seen pictures on this forum of someone's Prodrive rims (GC-07's) I think, or maybe GC010's arriving in box that had Bridgestone logos on them, as well as Bridgestone logos on the spec sticker on the inside of the rim itself.

The boxes mine shipped in were labeled Prodrive. As I said, I never said all Prodrive wheels were made by Rays. I just know some are. They may have different manufacturers on different continents.

Doesn't actually matter for the purposes of the OP. I think I've dragged this thread off topic.

Sorry to stay off topic, but I recently purchased Prodrive GC010E'S and the inside of the rim is stamped Bridgestone and Rays. Those GT-1's are nice looking rims though.

My GC-010E's have the bridgestone logo on it, and i have seen it on a friends GC-05F's as well. However, I bought my GC-010E's directly from prodrive, and the guy on the phone said that they were made by rays engineering. So i dont know what the significance of the bridgestone logo is.

Prodrive Japan is a subsidiary of Bridgestone, hence the Bridgestone logo on the wheel. From my sources in Japan, Rays does make the forged wheels for Prodrive. For people who have bought Prodrive forged wheels before, their prices are virtually no different than the Volk Racing wheels; expensive =)

That true and I have spoken with a few vendors and I'm limited to 17x8 (which is fine) or 18x8.5 (not really wanting another set of 18"s.) They are also $texas which I guess I could drop on some wheels but I'm trying to put that towards installing a bathroom in my basement and some other house mods.

(This was before Prodrive pulled out of the US so I'm sure it would be a bit harder to do but still possible.)

Hmmm this makes sense now. I was wondering why the Bridgestone booth @ the Auto Salon was packed with Prodrive wheels....

OZ also makes prodrive wheels. I work at oakos and on the boxes there are bridgestone marked on the boxes and also on other ones there are OZ. I forget what they say exactly but if you guys really want to know I can get that for you.

Its something along the lines of Bridgestone for Prodrive or something like that.

I ordered these wheels over a week ago directly from Prodrive. Gilbert was great to deal with and gave me a good price. Wheels should arrive at Prodrive within a week or two then they'll be shipped out to me

Update from Prodrive......Prodrive's first shipment from the UK is supposed to ship Monday 4/28. They are just not sure whether or not they will be shipping wheels with other performance parts. If they ship them all together they will leave Monday, otherwise they will ship soon after

Friday's update.....the wheels did go out on Monday 4/28. They expect them in CA on Monday 5/5. Hopefully I'll have them by the end of next week. Gotta jump on the Dunlop rebate at the Tire Rack before it expires tomorrow. Going with the Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec 235/40/18
