I know, I have spoken to many members about BBS wheels recently so, I wanted to give everybody as much advance notice as possible regarding this new BBS pricing.

If you have any questions regarding BBS product availability and/or pricing please contact me directly or post those questions in this thread.

I will be monitoring this situation along with this thread closely today and tomorrow.

This is just another change in business strategy from the new owners of BBS much like the previously posted change to wholesale pricing.

here's the previous post regarding the new pricing policy from BBS corp.

Thanks Luke
The BBS RE's I now have (thanks to an IWSTI member) are now $770 PER WHEEL! That's over $3000 a set before shipping.

IIRC, they were $650ish before the price jump... ouch. I'm not sure what "Punch Intl" is thinking, but it can't be much.

I can't say I care much. while they are nice, there are so many choices these days...also if I ever damage mine it will just give me a reason to get nicer looking wheels.

I saw that last night. $770 is a lot of loot for a wheel.

BBS stops selling, and they go up!

I'd probably just use the $770 to buy a whole set of Rota Formula Mesh wheels and pocket the rest. The BBS's are nicer wheels, but are they 4x as nice? I think not.

ill never pay that much for wheels unless i made a SHOW car, everyday car for me is pointless to spend that kind of cash. thats almost a turbo kit.

price and demand! your wheels are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them. If someone wants to pay you 770 per wheel awesome. I doubt you'll find anyone dumb enough to pay that much.

How does this effect the stock wheels? I assume those will go up in price as well, but how much?

probably only slightly but nothing too noticeable cuz they are stock wheels and people will still want to get rid of them. If the prices increase THAT much why wouldnt people just buy volks?
