| Amateur STI Driver | Hey Everyone, I got a few questions, Do you think the white spec C TYPE RA-R will look good on a 2007 CGM STi? Has anyone seen one with those rims? Also, will these bolt right up to the STi without having any problems? P.S If you have a CGM wrx of any kind can you post a pic of it with white rims, It can be any rims. I've always wanted to get the spec C TYPE RA-R rims but I've only thought about them with the Aspen White Sti but I think im moving toward the CGM now. This ad is not endorsed by this member. IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 Trader Rating: (2) | There wont be any problems with them. They are 18" rims, but i believe they are still only 8" wide. There is a couple white STi's with the spec c rar rims, and there is one guy on NASIOC with a 04/05 STI that has them on. I will try and find the pictures of that car. EDIT: here is the link (I included the pics for the lazy) RA-R wheels on - Member's Car Gallery - NASIOC![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Dragicon; 02-29-2008 at 05:18 PM. Reason: pics added. |

| Amateur STI Driver | Wow thanks, They look super nice on that 04/05 sti, I wonder what would be the best tires. I seen a guy have some Bridgestone Potenza But he said that they were RE070 but they can't be because i couldn't find the re070 in the proper size for the rim. only 17inch rims. Right now im looking into the RE050. If anyone has any suggestions to which tires would look the best and work the best with the car that will be great. I live in the south so not a lot of snow here hehe. To the comment about brake dust. Your pretty much going to have that problem on every rim except for black hehe. Besides it gives me a reason to get away from my woman. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 Trader Rating: (2) | Yeah, you can get the RE070s in 18" from japanparts.com Also, as mentioned those are not my rims, i was just posting the ones from NASIOC. I believe the rims ran about $1500. But they are all sold out now. Every now and then they are in the classifieds. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 Trader Rating: (2) | I guess it was $1400 for the rims, not $1500 Spec C Type RA-R 18.0 x 8.5J's US$1399 a Set *FREE Freight!!!* - Wheels/Tires - NASIOC |

| Amateur STI Driver | No they are like 1700 now, They were 1399 when that sale was going on but im pretty sure they no longer have that sale going on. Yea i figured i could get those tires on japanparts.com but I couldn't find those I may have to email them about it. |

The rims are here: japanparts.com : PARTS DATABASE As for the tires, they cost more than 1,000 in the NASIOC post.., if you are going to spend that on those tires, you might as well just get the RE01Rs instead for the same price. The RE070's in the 18" were only made for the RA-R when the car came out., so i would expect they would cost a pretty penny. | |

| Amateur STI Driver | Okay, Well I rather not spend 1000 bucks on tires. I don't need anything high performance since Im not a racer and I live in Arkansas so most time the weather is hot or rainy weather. What would you suggest as far as tire? I want something that look good with the car, low profile and works well in my weather condition |
