Default FN01R-C Size

I'm looking at getting the FN01R-Cs but I'm tied up as to the size I should get. I'm currently running JDM Pinks and it seems that 17x9 would be no good, so I was looking at either the 17x8 +35 or the 18x8.5 +48 on Kumho Ecsta MXs.

T3h_Clap said that the 17x8 +35mm FN01R-Cs would need some modification, but I couldn't get an answer to what degree I would need to modify. Spacers, camber, and/or rolling?

If I were to run FN01R-C 18x8.5 +48 5x114.3 and Kumho Ecsta MXs, what would be my max tire size without modifying the fenders or extreme rear camber?

go with 18x8.5. why would you look at 17x8 when it's the same size as your stock wheel?

on the 18x8.5 you can go as wide as 255/35. 245/40 would fit but it's not recommended because it's too tall. 235/40 is a good size but it's kinda narrow. there's also 245/35 but selection in that size is next to nothing.

I didn't want to take the 9" thread OT to talk about an 8" wheel.

anyway, the 8" +35mm will have the same issues as the 9" wheel would do to the low offset.

I would suggest going with a 18x8.5 +48mm and a 235/40/18 as it wont rub with your suspension.

anything wider runs the risk of rubbing.

if you're willing to do mods so it doesn't rub you could go wider.
