I'm in Connecticut, but near the water so not as much snow. Just throw em' on =P What are you worried about... traction?

doesn't have to snow to benefit of having on some winter tires during the cold winter months. i'd rather not take the chance and simply because i'm in no rush anyway

Yes, true, but my 16's were bothering me so it was time for the 18's. Cold ground / cracking rims / no mix. My car has been in a shop for a good 3 weeks now, and will be until next week, so I'm happy mine aren't out in the cold.
