IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | Well, if my alignment woes continue and i have to buy new tires I have decided to go with the Goodyear F1 A/S ultra high performance tire. Our factory specs call for 225/45-17. I notice that alot folks do not stick with the factory size. Why is this? I want to have a local shop order these tires and i want to be sure i order the right set. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | hmm... i didn't know this. I thought by you saying A/S you just wanted an all season tire, but i guess there is an actual F1 All Season and a F1 A/S... The reviews of the All Season look pretty good. As far as tire size, most people want more performance out of their tire. Wider = more contact patch = more area for grip. shorter sidewall = less flex = better turn -in.
