Really, so theres enough room to put the ARP studs in without cutting anything?

Good tips...I think I might do these this weekend. Thanks...

its not black and white with all the different wheels. if you can get 10 turns out of the lugs on stock studs, then they are fine and your wasting time and money changing the studs. a 12 x 1.25 stud only needs 10mm of thread engagement. more isnt going to hold the wheel on any better.

you could if you really want to but I don't think it's really needed.

they've got a pretty aggressive stance as is.

hmm, you think those instructions would work for the ones that come with a 5mm spacer? maybe i'll just space the fronts wouldn't be a bad thing to have +39 up front and +44 in the rear though

?
Ive put 5mm spacers on the rear of my STi for many many Autox runs. I would not use them on the street however. Even at autox I am extremely paranoid to tell you the truth. I tighten between runs because I lose lug torque. That said...the rear tires receive the minority of the force loads when cornering...so I dont feel as paranoid about running them versus running them in the front.

sounds like you need some e.t. lugs. if they dont fit in your existing lug holes, drill them out to 5/8". these lugs give you an extra 8mm or so of thread engagement.

if you run those lugs, you dont need to. as long as you have plenty of thread engagement, its fine. it doesnt matter how you get it as long as you wind up with at least 10mm of thread engagement. keep in mind, thats the minimum, more is better, but not needed.
