IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2007 Trader Rating: (13) | I am currently running 18x8 48mm with 225/40/18 and would like to go a little wider on wheel and tire. I am unsure of what offset I should go with to accomplish my goal. I am running BC Coil overs...13.5 F and 14 R hub to well. Wheels are 18x8 48mm offset Tires are 225/40/18 I want: 18x8.5 (?) offset 245/40/18 tires Goal is to have the rim as close to the outside of the well as possible. Pic: ![]() I like: ![]() I realize that the wells are wider here but it shows what i am generally looking for. Help??? Joe This ad is not endorsed by this member. You also won't get that look with an 8.5" rim, unless you start running offsets in the low 30's. Rays 57f's come in a 8.5" and +45 (or is it +43??) that will give you a "meatier" look. But you won't get that flush look shown in the picture. |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2004 Trader Rating: (2) | yeah if you are looking for the concave, you definitely need low camber. those zerosport or other suby with concave wheels are running 2-2.5 neg camber. which isn't really recommended for DD. not to mention you will wear your tires like no other if you are not looking for concave look, just want flush. you can get 8.5 with 40+ offset or 38+ i think that's the lowest you can go without having super low camber or cutting the fender. |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2004 Trader Rating: (7) | I wouldn't suggest running a 245/40/18 tire, it's too tall. you've got the suspension to support an 18x9 +45mm and a 255/35/18, might as well run it. plus it'll have the "flush" look you want without having too many issues. Are you willing to run a little more front ride height and some additional camber to make these work? what budget are you looking at for everything? |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2007 Trader Rating: (13) | Thanks all for resopnding. I have -2.5 front camber and -1.5 in the rear now. I don't drive the car all that often so tire wear is really not a concern for me. 18x9 and 255...oh boy T3...I really don't have a budget for these. I will be selling my wheels and tires that I have now and have a buyer waiting. I would like to spend less than 3 grand for all. I am in no rush for these so I will continue to look for a wheel I really like. I have been going for the blacked out look but I have been contemplating gold wheels for a little while.
