IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | hi guys, I'm curious to know what is the widest tires and rims I can put on my 07 STi if I put APR widebody kit? I also have stoptech bbk 355x32mm with 6pistons caliper. It doen't mean I will really buy it, maybe i will if i can afford it if i can save enough money. I hope The Clap will give his help/comment on this. thanks in advance This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

he test fit them recently and said the fit is near dead on. It's possible to go wider if you were to run a higher offset, but then it depends on your suspension setup to know exactly how high an offset you can run. If you wanted to run a lower offset you could as well, you'd just need to figure out ultimately what size tire you want to run and how much camber you're willing to run on a daily basis. Quote:

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | thanks Clap Actually the reason I asked for that is that I'm planning to buy an STi that got "totaled" from insurance auction. both front fender was destroyed, the front bumper and hood as well that is why i'm thinking of the APR if I can out bid other guys. I want to rebuild the car and have a monster setup on that as well. What size of 18in tires would you recommend? If I can get only 18x9.5in here, what offset do i need? and what maximum tire size for that 18x9.5 rims? I hope I win the bidding and hopefully i get a very good bargain for that. Thanks again Clap |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2004 Trader Rating: (4) | T3h Clap was refering to me. Thanks for the help, BTW I have an 05 sti with the APR widebody. As he stated, I finally decided on the enkei nt03+m 18x10.5 +30mm. I went with ADVAN 295/30/18 tires. Fitment is great at it looks awesome. Crawford performance has an APR widebody sti with the same wheels as mine and they went up to a 305/30 Kuhmo tire and it fit. My sti is getting custom painted right now. When I get it back, I have tons of suspension parts to put on. I also have the stoptech 6 piston kit in red waiting to go on. The enkeis will clear that kit. I do have one pointer about the APR kit, Be prepared to spend big bucks to install it. The quality is great, but the fitment is not perfect. It looks great when installed, though. It will take an experienced body shop many hours to do the install. To do a high quality install, and keep all body lines intact, you are looking at 100+ hours of labor. |

sounds like you got a very nice setup ![]() do you have any pics of the installation of your APR widebody kit? i wonder how much does it take or remove something from the car just to install it. i see the Crawford installation of the widebody kit and they remove a lot from the car. ![]() Labor here is not that bad, shipping of anything from USA to Philippines is bloody expensive. My dealer just charged me for around $200 for the installation of the Crawford turbo kit. Not bad for labor cost | |
