IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2006 Trader Rating: (1) | Will Falkin RT 615's, size 245/45/17, stock 05 BBS, clear with Prodrive springs and negative 1.5 Camber in the rear? Just looking to get some affordable new wider track tires to replace my RE070's. Or would you recommend getting another set of stock size Potenza's? Thanks. This ad is not endorsed by this member. IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | I have the same size and I am running Cobb springs. I have around the same neg. camber in the rear and have had no rubbing during auto-x's |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2004 Trader Rating: (7) | they are taller than stock, but with your setup and the stock BBS's you shouldn't have issues. a 245/40/17 is a better setup. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | the only reason I would see 245/45/17 better than the 245/40, would be that the taller tire allow you to gain some mph in autox. I am not sure how much of a benefit it would give, but I know I find myself debating whether to shift or not a lot. |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2004 Trader Rating: (7) | that is true. Downside is the setup may or may not work with all suspensions. |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | I've read that 255/40 are the closest to stock diameter and have been run successfully by several.... Gonna run that set-up in a few months when my tires go out... |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2007 Trader Rating: (3) | they work with swifts for sure, and they are lower than prodrives. I just had mine installed monday, they feel great. A little mushy on turn in, but lots of grip. |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2004 Trader Rating: (7) | the "right" sizes for an STi in the terms of RT615s 225/45/17 255/40/17 (may not fit depending on offset/width/suspension) 235/40/18 265/35/18 (may not fit depending on offset/width/suspension) |
